Meet the Doctors

Brooke Pankhurst

Dr. Brooke Pankhurst

Brooke Panhurst

Dr. Pankhurst was born and raised in western Oklahoma. She graduated high school from Burns Flat – Dill City in 2014. It was during her freshman year of high school that she experienced the medical side of optometry after having her eye scratched during a basketball game and grew to love the profession! She then moved to Tahlequah, Ok where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science of Cell and Molecular Biology from NSU in 2018. From there, she completed her optometry degree at The Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2022 where she graduated cum laude. 

Dr. Peyton Porter

Originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dr. Porter attended the University of Arkansas and graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Porter then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Porter graduated SCO magna cum laude in 2021. 

During her time in optometry school, Dr. Porter was a member of Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and Beta Kappa Sigma Honor Society. 

In her spare time, Dr. Porter enjoys traveling,  going to museums, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Porter attends church at the Holy Family Cathedral in downtown Tulsa. 

Dr. Porter is excited to join the Insight Eyecare family and looks forward to serving the Jenks community. She is committed to providing personalized care for all of her patients.

Dr. Kyle Tate

Dr. Tate was born and raised in Tulsa where he attended Jenks and Metro Christian Academy. In 2007, he received his Bachelors of Science in Organismic Biology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Dr. Tate began optometry school that year at The Oklahoma College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry in 2011. Immediatley after graduation Dr. Tate began his ocular disease residency with Eyecare Associates of South Tulsa. Soon after Dr. Tate completed his board certification in optometry and completed his fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.

Our practice mixes state of the art technology and a commitment to spending the time necessary with patients, no cattle herding in and out at Insight Eyecare. Our team services the eye care needs of the people of Glenpool, Jenks, Sapulpa and all of Southwest Tulsa.

We treat all types of eye disease and do surgical procedure both in house and in surgery centers. We have lasers in house and amazing technology to help find and treat eye disease before it affects your vision. Bring us you red, irritated, burning scratchy eyes. Insight Eyecare also does diabetes and high blood pressure eye exams. We treat cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and many other eye disease.
